Set Contents:
- 1x Fender (consisting of two parts)
- 2x Mounting clamps
- 2x M3x40 bolts (requires 2.5 mm Allen key)
- 1x M3x16 bolt (requires 2.5 mm Allen key)
Step 1: Assembling the fender components Connect both parts of the fender together in the center, at the raised protruding element. Screw them together using the single M3x16 bolt.
Step 2: Removing the brake hose guide Unscrew the upper brake hose guide.
Step 3: Mounting the fender to the steerer tube Before inserting the fender, check if the hole in the steerer tube is clean. If it is dirty, clean it before proceeding. Insert the fender so that the upper protrusion enters the steerer tube hole.
Step 4: Aligning the mounting clamps The inside of the mounting clamps features product codes ending with the letters L and R to help distinguish them. When installing, inspect the inner surface of both the fender and the mounting clamps—there is an alignment line on them. The lines must match up perfectly, indicating that the correct clamp has been selected for that side.
Step 5: Securing the mounting clamps Once the mounting clamps are in place, pass the long M3x40 bolts completely through the holes from the side. Tighten them gently with feeling and do not overtighten.
Step 6: Mounting the brake hose guide Finally, after the fender is installed, mount the brake hose guide underneath the fender mounting clamp.
