Set Contents:
- 1x Fender (consisting of two parts)
- 2x Mounting clamps
- 2x M3x40 bolts (requires 2.5 mm Allen key)
- 2x M3x10 bolts (requires 2.5 mm Allen key)
- Double-sided M3 tape
Step 1: Assembling the fender components
Connect both parts of the fender together. Screw them together using the smaller M3x10 bolts positioned on the sides of the hole in the center of the fender.
Step 2: Removing the bottom cap
Unscrew the original cap from the bottom of the steerer tube on the fork.
Step 3: Verifying and adjusting the brake hose guide height
Check the height of the brake hose guide. Measure the distance between the guide and the fork crown.
- If the distance between the guide and the crown is less than 10 mm, gently peel off the original guide.
- Reattach it lower down using the double-sided M3 tape included in the set.
Step 4: Mounting the fender to the fork crown
Position the fender against the fork crown. First, secure and screw it to the steerer tube using the cap. Only after this step is complete should you proceed to attach the mounting clamps.
Step 5: Aligning the mounting straps
The inside of the mounting straps features product codes ending with the letters L (Left) and R (Right) to help distinguish them. When installing, inspect the inner surface of both the fender and the mounting clamps—there is an alignment line on them. The lines must match up perfectly, indicating that the correct strap has been selected for that side.
Step 6: Securing the mounting straps
Once the mounting clamps are in place, pass the long M3x40 bolt completely through the hole from the side. Tighten it gently with feeling (do not overtighten).
