Description

If you want to benefit from minimalistic display of BOSCH Purion 200 but also have BOSCH Mini Remote under fingers? You can do that with this center holder.

We all know LED Remote Control Unit provided with initial version of Bosch Smart System. If you prefer to have display than just led indicators, but on the other hand BOSCH Knox 300 or 500 is too big for you, you probably bought BOSCH Purion 200 as a retrofit.

But since highly functional and minimalistic display replaces LED indicators, the new controller inherited one big disadvantage from his ancestor. It’s still bulky and exposed for damage during crash.

Fortunately there is solution for that. You can move Purion to safer position close to the stem and use BOSCH Mini Remote instead. The only thing you need is holder that will allow you to install the controller in the new position.

It’s still fully functional, you can use all the buttons and led indicators. Bonus: now you can control drive unit with left or right hand depending on situation.

If you need help with replacing LED controller to Purion 200, you can find very good tutorial here.

I don’t understand: according to “https://www.bosch-ebike.com/pl/usluga/kombinacje-produktow” it’s impossible to match mini controller with Purion 200. Mini controller works only with system controller or Kiosk 400C.

Well, mini remote works both with let remote (I’m using it personally) and Purion 200 (I tested that). My understanding of this page is that BOSCH does’t officially support such connection, probably they didn’t event thought it can be used that way. I hope they will not come up with a “bright” idea to block such possibility in some software update. It would be very dissapointing.
