Designed for absolute integration, this dedicated EXT VAIA mudguard flawlessly continues the aggressive lines of the factory stanchion protectors on your EXT DH fork. It is built for riders who demand an anti rattle mtb fender that survives brutal tracks without compromising the sleek aesthetics of their suspension. It is an official EXT-authorized component.
Optimized Racing Profile
Unlike our multi-size models, this specific EXT VAIA fender is purpose-built in a single, highly optimized Racing variant. With a total length of 33.5 cm (11 cm front / 22.5 cm rear), it is perfectly adjusted to provide effective face protection during fast laps in wet conditions. It also extends to cover the internal side of the top tubes, preventing grit and mud from getting between the stanchions and the protectors.
Note: This racing profile provides tight clearance to avoid collision with the crown during full bottom-out. For extremely heavy mud, we recommend our dedicated EXT VAIA MX version.
Factory-Level Fit & “Crown Pocket”
Our EXT bolt-on fender was developed in cooperation with the EXT Racing Shox. We specifically designed it to act as a seamless extension of the fork. It mounts directly to the factory stanchion protectors, completely eliminating zip ties. A specially engineered “crown pocket” flawlessly matches the shape of the lower crown, ensuring high clearance MTB fender performance and preventing any impact during harsh bottom-outs.
No More Loose Brake Lines
We understand that you don’t want the brake hose hanging loosely when navigating narrow trails full of bushes and branches. This is why this rattle-free downhill fender is equipped with a native hose clamp to keep your lines secure and prevent shifting. An optional upper guide, mounted just under the lower crown, keeps the hose parallel to the upper tube, allowing it to move smoothly without bending. Compatible with heavy-duty brake hoses.
Impact-Resistant 3D Construction
It is manufactured out of polypropylene using precision 3D printing. This technology allows us to create unique structural features: the thick, stiff mounting areas are hollowed out to reduce the overall weight to just 160g, while the thinner main shell remains flexible enough to deflect impacts on rocky terrain. This makes it one of the stiffest MTB front fenders for inverted forks.
