While the Mattoc shares the signature reverse-arch design with its larger enduro brother, its trail-oriented chassis requires a more refined approach to protection. Our mudguard is not a generic cover; it is specifically shaped to fill the internal cut-outs of the Mattoc arch. This precise integration creates a bridge that significantly increases the stiffness of the guard, preventing any rattling or movement even during high-speed trail riding.

This is one of those times when size actually matters, and you need to know which one to choose. Based on your local trail conditions and the climate you ride in, you can select the perfect front fender length for your Mattoc fork. This enduro splash guard is available in four different sizes: Mini, Racing, Universal and Long.

Mini Size

A discrete solution for those who prioritize a clean bike aesthetic. This version is built for dry or dusty conditions, focusing specifically on shielding your fork stanchions and dust seals from grit. At 25.5 cm of total length, it provides essential protection without altering the aggressive profile of your setup.

Racing Size

The balanced choice for competition. We designed this model to offer reliable spray protection in moderate conditions while keeping weight to a minimum. By being nearly 10 cm shorter than the Universal version, it maintains a compact, race-focused silhouette while still handling wet trail sections with ease.

Universal Size

The dependable all-rounder for unpredictable mountain weather. With its 39.5 cm total length, this guard is engineered to be your daily driver, offering a high level of protection for both the rider and the suspension. It is the go-to option when you need one setup that can handle everything from damp soil to proper mud.

Long Size

Total defense for the most demanding, saturated trails. Measuring 47.5 cm in length, this is our largest shield, built to stop heavy mud spray in its tracks. It is specifically designed to keep your vision sharp and your goggles clear, even when the trail conditions are at their absolute worst.

Additional Protection for Your Mattoc

Generic mudguards often struggle to protect the seals on reverse-arch forks without looking bulky. We solved this by integrating extended side profiles into the design. By lowering the edges of the guard, we created a barrier that significantly cuts down the amount of debris reaching the fork seals, all while maintaining the sharp, factory-integrated look of the Manitou chassis.

Uncompromising Clearance (29×2.6 tire)

Unlike mass-produced universal MTB mud flaps, the shape of our guards precisely fits the internal shape of the arch and crown (at full bottom-out). As a result, the mudguard provides the maximum possible clearance, taking up only 2.5 mm of space under the arch. Tested on 29×2.6 tires during the design process.

Reliable Bolt-On Mounting Without Zip-Ties

Enduro riding requires rigid mounting. Our fender for Manitou Mattoc – in addition to 3 mounting bolts – features unique tabs that lock into the characteristic internal ribbing of the arch. This design keeps the structure rock-solid and the arch internals mud-free, without the need for zip ties. This integrated system makes it the best Mattoc bolt-on guard for those who value a seamless factory look, stiffness, and build quality.

“Factory-Like” Front Fender Fit Without Adapters

We began the design process of our mudguards with an accurate 3D scan of the Manitou Mattoc MY23 fork. This allowed us to achieve a perfect fit against the arch. This front mudguard doesn’t look like an optional add-on, but like an integral part of your fork.
