We are excited to announce the start of our collaboration with NICOLAI Bicycles. VisionVelo will be delivering custom-crafted accessories for their bikes.
The first stage of cooperation focused on developing a rear mudguard and dummy battery cover for NICOLAI’s flagship e-bike model – the S16 MGU.

The Mudguard
Our goal was to create a mudguard that perfectly fits the frame while effectively protecting sensitive suspension areas – particularly the main pivot of the chainstay. It was possible thanks to use 3D printing for production.
To meet the preferences of every rider, the mudguard is available in four size options, ranging from a minimalistic version that covers only the chainstay to a full-length option that protects both the bike and the rider.
The Cover
The cover provides a simple solution for transporting or washing the bike when the battery is removed.
Next Steps
Our plan is to expand the range of mudguards to other popular NICOLAI bike models – S14 Swift and others. This will go hand in hand with the development of handy accessories such as covers and dedicated brackets.

Can you give me the measurement of the square diameter of your rear fender for the Nichola? I want to try fitting it on my GAS GAS EC3 thanks

The mudguard is designed for S16 MGU and very tightly fitted to chainstay, so it will not fit to other bike. I will be successive designing mudguards for other bikes this year.
