The Fox 36 MY21 recently arrived at our workshop thanks to a partner company that provided us with this specific fork for development. While our primary goal was to launch the carbon fiber edition, we quickly decided that the standard Fox 36 mudguard needed a total visual and technical overhaul. What started as a side project became a complete redesign that showcases our latest manufacturing standards.
We moved away from the basic, straight side profiles of the previous generation. This new MTB fender features aggressive, wavy side lines that flow much better with the modern chassis of the Fox 36 suspension. One of the most significant technical changes is the rear section of the guard. We replaced the old flat-top design with a perfectly semi-circular dome. While the previous flat shape was meant to prevent contact at full travel, this new rounded profile provides even better clearance and structural integrity during maximum fork compression.
By applying our full technical know-how—including strategic reinforcements and widened coverage—we’ve created what is arguably the best-looking fender for Fox 36 on the market. It’s no longer just a piece of plastic for protection; it’s a high-end accessory that complements the Factory and Performance series perfectly, offering superior suspension protection without any compromises in style.
