We are happy to announce a significant update of our mudguard collection for Manitou Forks. We introduced model dedicated for Mattoc, also refreshed overall appearance of Mezzer version.
Mattoc model
When the first VisionVelo mudguard for the Manitou Mezzer was released about a year ago, it quickly proved to be a very successful design.
The mudguard was perfectly fitted to the distinctive Manitou reversed arch and was both very stiff and durable. Unfortunately it didn’t fit to other Manitou forks, so riders almost immediately started to ask for Mattoc version.
It turned out not to be easy to find a suitable fork for fitting. Fortunately, one of our customers volunteered to bring one from Prague to Poland so that we could design the mudguard.
We decided to update the Mezzer mudguard first—giving it a visual appearance in line with the VisionVelo 2025 collection—and then adapt it for the Mattoc. Although at first sight the forks seem nearly identical, they differ significantly in detail.
Consequently, the Mattoc version required a complete redesign of the fitting area, but it was worth it.
Riders receive two mudguard models that are similar but both are perfectly fitted to their respective fork types.
New, aggressive look
The bolting section is crafted in a clean, regular form with sharp edges and serves as a natural extension of the fork arch.
Up to 16 size combinations
Similarly to all VisionVelo 2025 collection, the mudguard is available in four basic sizes.
However, by ordering individual elements, you can mix up sizes to create your unique setup. There are up to 16 combinations available.
Factory level fit
The mudguard is designed to perform in extreme situations—including full bottom-out. The center section is modeled to match the crown’s shape under full compression, maximizing tire clearance within the fork’s design constraints.
The mudguard’s side walls are sufficiently tall to protect the stanchions and dust seals in wet conditions.
