After the Zeb, It’s Time for the Fox - New Fenders for Fox 36 and 38!
Right after releasing our fender for the new Zeb, we kept the momentum going – it was time to tackle the forks with the fox logo! Designing for Fox was no longer a step into the unknown. The four-point mounting system using additional lower leg eyelets is a setup we’ve come to know inside out. The experience we gained from the Zeb, as well as our very first project like this for X-Fusion, allowed us to get everything done much faster.
Fox 38 2027 Model Year
We kicked off with the latest 38. Fox completely changed the arch shape on this model, meaning our old fender wouldn’t fit at all. So, the very first step was precisely adapting the mounting components to match this specific model year. Compared to older versions, the fork gained additional mounting points on the lower legs, and the fender itself received a completely fresh look. We contoured it perfectly to match the new fork shape and aligned it with our current design standards so it looks great for years to come.
Fox 36 2026 Model Year
Right after wrapping up the Fox 38, we moved straight to the Fox 36. In this case, the process went even smoother than with the 38, as we could build directly on the fender we had just designed for its bigger sibling. The Fox 36 project had been hanging over us for a while – the fork actually debuted back in 2025, but due to trouble finding someone to lend us one right after its release, followed by a sheer backlog of work, we kept pushing it back. However, it turned out for the best! Thanks to how our designs have evolved over recent months, today’s fender looks vastly better than it would have a year ago.
Real Carbon Versions Available Right Away
Alongside the 3D-printed versions, we also have great news for carbon lovers. On both of these forks, the clearance between the lower legs is wide enough that our universal carbon shell fits without any issues. We immediately designed dedicated mounts for them and launched the carbon versions at the same time as the 3D-printed ones so no one has to wait.
