This installation guide applies to dedicated rear mudguards with side clamp mounts.
Attention! Tighten all bolts carefully. Do not overtighten.
Step 1: Remove the rear wheel & position the lower mudguard section
Remove the rear wheel to access the inside of the rear triangle. Slide the lower section of the mudguard into place from the wheel side, fitting the mounting points flush against the inner frame contour.
Step 2: Reinstall the rear wheel
Reinstall the rear wheel and tighten your thru-axle to factory specification. Ensure the wheel spins freely and the inserted section is in the correct position.
Step 3: Loosely attach the upper mudguard section
Slide the upper mudguard section onto the lower one from the top. Thread the connecting bolts on top of the mudguard loosely so both sections hold together while still allowing room for adjustment.
Step 4: Apply protective film patches
Note: You can skip this step if your frame already has protective film covering the clamp areas.
If mounting directly onto bare paint or raw finish, check where the side clamps will wrap around the frame. Apply the included protective film patches directly to those contact points to protect the frame and ensure a solid, stable clamp seat.
Step 5: Mount the side clamps
Prepare both clamps. They are marked L (Left) and R (Right), determined from behind the bike looking forward in the direction of travel. Check the molded directional arrows to see which side to insert the bolts from. Wrap the clamps around the stays and thread the bolts loosely into the mudguard body.
Step 6: Alignment and final tightening
Check the overall alignment of the mudguard and tire clearance. First, fully tighten the bolts connecting both sections under the saddle. Finally, tighten the side clamp bolts evenly until the entire assembly locks rigidly and securely in place.
